Hello and welcome to my class!
Ever since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be a teacher. It is so exciting to help children learn to love learning.
I have spent many hours going to school myself to help me become a better teacher. In the past, I have had the roles of
a Reading Specialist for grades K-5, teacher of students with learning differences in grades 1-5 in a pull-out program,
adjunct professor for elementary education students at IUPUI, teacher of seventh grade students, and teacher of fifth
grade students. While at Hutson, I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching students in grades 3/4 and 5/6. I look forward to
growing as a teacher as Hutson grows too.
When I am not working on school related things, I spend time with my three children and my husband.
We enjoy reading, swimming, camping, and 4- wheeling. In addition to my two-legged children, we also have four
dogs and three cats which we love dearly.
